Week 22 - The Week When Michelle has a Baptismal date!!!!

I almost cried this week. POR FIN! (finally) Michelle that I've been teaching almost since I arrived here in Barrio 7 Flores in August finally decided to set a date for her baptism. The best part was that she decided by herself what the date would be. We just asked her how she was feeling about the whole baptism thing and she said she finally came up with a date herself. She's going to get baptized on the 8th of December and she wants me to do it! I'm so stoked for that I can't even begin to describe it to you all.

Well for the first time in 6 weeks, we didn't hit the goal of new investigators for the week. The goal is 7 if ya'll don't remember. The thing is that we still managed to find 6 and we didn't have a lot of time a contactar esta semana (to contact this week) because we had a lot of charlas (discussions) to go to a causa de todas las personas que hemos encontrado (because of all the people that we have found).

Marilyn todavia esta bien de bien (is still good). She has only smoked 2 of the last 6 days and she really has an impressive testimony of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon already. She seriously is one of the elect of God in these last days, which for us means easy to teach and baptize. Jaja! But seriously, she's 100% capa (awesome) and we are going to try and start teaching her daughter this week a little more. Apparently she reads like a fiend so we're just going to drop a Book of Mormon in her hands and let the book do its trick.

Eduardo, Claudia, and Augustin lost their baptismal fechas because they didn't come to church again, so we're going to have to see what happened there.

Finally the guy that came to church last week that we didn't think would show up, now has a baptismal date for the 22nd of December and we're really excited for him as well. He is super willing to listen to us and to change to do what he needs to do. Super capo!

That's all for this week!
Nos vemos!

-Elder Martin
