Week 39 - The Miracle Rebuild!!!

So the last week was pretty rough for us, but this week was the compensation for it - it was honestly incredible.

The only rough thing that was still kind of good was that we had Stake Conference this week, which was a super spiritual conference honestly, it was crazy awesome.  But Paysandu, where the Stake Center is, is super far from my area in Concepcion, like 2.5 hours, and pretty much nobody has cars and there wasn't a good bus schedule so we got 0 people in church this week, but the rest was awesome.

Awesome People We Found:

F  : A young man that is friends with a lot of the young men in the ward. He's super chill, he doesn't understand a whole lot so we have to teach simple, but he believes and accepted a fecha baptismal (baptism date) in the first charla for Apr. 20th.

E : A young married guy. We haven`t had a full charla with him yet, but he literally asked to come to church with us, that is always a good sign because church attendance is always such a problem.

R : He attended church for a year straight and loves the church but didn't get baptized because he was living with someone.  Then he moved to our area and he has strong desires to return to going to church. He no longer lives with that woman. We are really stoked! This guy loves the church!

G : He contacted us on the bus. We taught the Restoration and gave him a Book of Mormon all on the bus and he literally said that it was most likely destiny that led us to talking to him! He seems super excited to keep talking with us. He also said he had never felt so good in his life until he heard our message!

There were also in total 13 people that we found this week to start teaching that we haven`t talked to a whole lot yet and 8 people accepted a fecha bautismal this week! I have never seen a week so crazy Spirit-filled.

I want to share two things with all of you this week.
1. 1 Ne. 1:3  -  Basically Nephi starts off by bearing testimony that the Book of Mormon is true. Testimonies are super important for everything and honestly nothing brings the Spirit more than that.
2: In the stake conference Elder Rios shared something that God has given us two great gifts:  First: Time     Second: The ability to choose what we do with that time.
We need to really take a step back and decide what things are worth the use of our time and I know that we cannot use our time in a better way than living the Gospel, and as it says in Alma, preparing ourselves to meet God. I know this church is true! I love you all!

Nos vemos!
