Week 55 - The week of fallen charlas

Well, this week was honestly fairly uneventful...

We've been having lots of problems recently with having charlas (discussions) with our main progressing people because of the rule where we can't enter their house, and there's only 1 adult male that can accompany us, our Branch President, and even then he has so many other things to do that it's kind of hard to plan on that.
So this week we did manage to have 1 charla with a joven (youth) named L. that is part of a less active family but he is not a member. We showed him and his family the 20 min. video of the Restoration; his less active family members had forgotten almost everything. They seemed pretty interested again to know how everything went down. The thing with L. is that I've heard he has a lot of friends that make fun of the church and for that he never was baptized when the missionaries were visiting and teaching his younger brother almost 2 years ago.
N. and J. are doing good from what we can tell. We've stopped by them during the week but never had a real charla with them.

M. T. is still receiving the charlas super well and remembers the information quite well also, but she still hasn't come to church yet. She had a baptismal date planned for 27th of July, but she lost that now.

Nonetheless, we didn't have a lot of charlas this week, but that just means we had more time to contact right?! We were blessed with the opportunity to find a greater number than normal of new people to teach this week that we hope will be able to start progressing here shortly.

I know that the church is true as well as the Book of Mormon! I know Pres. Nelson really is the Lord's Prophet in these latter days. I know that Christ lives and there is nothing that his love cannot heal.

That's it for this week. Nos vemos!

Apparently they did a sunset photo shoot!  :)
