Week 82 - Birthday week!!

Alright, I just have to say thanks to everyone that sent me Birthday wishes! When I got on to my email today and saw that massive list of emails I was literally stunned! I've never been one to like a lot of attention, but that really did mean a lot to me so thanks to everyone!

This week has been really good honestly! We were in so many charlas (discussions) this week! Just hopping from one to the next like chickens with our heads cut off! I don't think I've ever been this busy in my mission before.

We had some charlas with N. this week that were super great. It's really impressive how much he knows already! Most of the charlas we have with him are really just reviews. He also came to church yesterday and it was super special because his great-grandma and grandma gave talks and his Mom gave the closing prayer! It was a very special Sunday for that family! He's progressing really well and we're really excited for his baptism that will happen on February 1st!

C. didn't come to church again and we're not really sure why. It's really unfortunate because she had said on Saturday that she was going to go and we were going to have her baptism this Saturday. It´s kind of hard, but for now we're planning on waiting until she starts coming to church again before giving her another fecha (date for baptism). We really hope that she can start progressing a little more again.

Well, this week we had a really good lesson for the Come, Follow Me class. I remember something that a Young Men's leader shared with me once about the vision of the Tree of Life! There is one really good part that talks about the group of people that made it to the tree and then they abandoned it, and it was because there was an "after they had tasted of the fruit." Even if we have a testimony we must continually be developing it. There can't be an "after tasting of the fruit." It's the only way we can overcome the world!

I love you all! Nos vemos!
