Week 83 - The week of Changes!!
So we got changes this week! I'm going back to Rivera!! I won't go back to Tranqueras though; now I'm going to Central 1 (a ward right in the city of Rivera). Also, I'm going to be a Zone Leader too! It´s going to be a crazy good opportunity to be able to learn more! I'm super excited. Also, I really love Rivera so I'm super excited to go back!
This week had its ups and downs because N. and C. didn't come to church which is always kind of rough. C. always has something come up last minute but we're really hoping that she can just make it. N. slept in which is kind of sad. Still though we've had lots of charlas with them this week and as far as the reading and prayer goes, they're doing really good, and they're learning well. N. had his baptismal date changed to February 14th.
Awesomely though, G., a less active member we found recently, and her granddaughter M. that is 14 years old and isn't a member, came to church! We also had lots of people in church that don't normally come. Honestly, this last Sunday was a really nice send off! When I got here to this area we had about 17 people coming to church, and last Sunday we had 34!! It was really great to see that for a change!
I've also been having some really neat experiences this week being able to visit members and say goodbye and remembering some really good moments we've had, and I'm actually still going to visit a couple more before I leave tomorrow, but really it has been really great being here in Colonia, I've learned so much and I can see how the Lord has helped me through everything I've been through, and especially with my new assignment I can see how the Lord prepares those he calls.
I love you all! Nos vemos!
